Unither invests €68m in Euroject

Unither Pharmaceuticals will invest 68 million euros to launch the “Euroject” project for filling ready-to-use single-dose vaccines using Blow-Fill-Seal technology.

President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron announced an important strategic project for Unither Pharmaceuticals during his visit to Amiens. The Chief Executive Officer of Unither Pharmaceutical, Eric Goupil, will speak at the launch of the “Euroject” project for filling ready-to-use single-dose vaccines with Blow-Fill-Seal technology.

Unither will invest 68 million euros, of which 34 million euros (50%) will be financed by the French State. More than 200 jobs on the Amiens industrial site will be created within 5 years.
Several recent innovations have made it possible to design aseptic packaging systems that combine high-throughput production efficiency with the highest sterility guarantees. With the invention of this new type of pre-filled, single-dose disposable syringe which can be produced at very low production costs on a high-speed rotary machine, a new type of pre-filled disposable syringe can be developed.
