As a Technical Writer at Hapa, you will be involved with our products, researching and compiling information in the relevant specialized teams. You will work closely with product designers and developers, software engineers and project managers.

Design, simulation, construction and testing of prototypes and processes as well as development and implementation of new mechatronic solutions within product development projects.

After an intensive training period in-house and at customer sites, this position will give you the opportunity to independently support our printing systems on international assignments, provide customer training and perform complex troubleshooting maintenance and preventive maintenance work. You will interact with state-of-the-art technologies in printing solution and process automation as well as mechanics, electronics and software integration. It is desired that you actively shape our company. You integrate existing and new machine generations at our international customers and represent our company on site. As a technical specialist, you will travel and get to know a wide variety of companies, people and countries. In addition, you will be supported by a collegial and motivated team.

The mechanical technical lead provides guidance for the mechanical engineers in how to design, test and verify mechatronic systems. You’ll drive the mechanical engineers to ensure that machine components are designed according to the defined guidelines for mechanical engineering. You’re responsible for the definition of the mechanical engineering guidelines, including all mechanical tools, like PLM and SolidWorks. You’ll continue to ensure that the processes are up to date. You’re also responsible in developing the mechanical engineer’s skills and making sure the team is aligned.
