Sophie Cerny, Deputy CEO at Switzerland Innovation

Sophie Cerny is the Deputy CEO at Switzerland Innovation. Previous positions were, inter alia, as Switzerland Innovation Commissioner at the Swiss Federal Agency for Trade and Investment Promotion in the United States based in Boston, Massachusetts. Furthermore, she is a former tech entrepreneur and an advocate for diversity, inclusion, and equality in entrepreneurship and science. She earned an MBA from the IE Business School in Madrid, Spain and bachelor and master’s degrees in law with distinction from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland.
