Drug Combination Product development requires a deep understanding of the assemblies to the overall system to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of the drug.
Main challenges that impact pre-filled syringes (PFS) product development are:
• Drug-Container Interaction
• Mechanical Performances
• Container Closure Integrity
Tools & methodology can be deployed to anticipate such challenges and provide key data to de-risk your drug combination product development at an early stage.
After 40 years of innovation, the robotic division of Stäubli accelerate the pace. Since 2020, strong strategic initiatives have been launched to help Pharma productions to cope with their latest challenges: Annex 1, Personalized drugs, Flexibility, Small batch production and Mobility. We provided a short overview of today’s application and our solutions, with a glance of our new products coming soon to further support our customer needs for tomorrow.
Parenteral products safety begins with containers closure integrity testing: the ability to maintain a sterile barrier and to prevent leakage resulting in product contamination. Recent regulatory guidance and requirements are influencing changes in industry best practices for CCIT. The challenge of choosing the proper method for each product requires a comprehensive approach: in this session we gave an overview on multi-technology approaches that the Antares Vision Group offers to allow effective CCI testing.
The packaging industry has undergone a transformation thanks to new tools that help us offer more versatile and unique solutions to our customers. From being able to reprint a batch in no time, to include blockchain features to their packaging, Pharma labs and CMO’s will find huge benefits in combining digital and traditional printing technologies, while reducing their impact in the environment. At Essentra Packaging we are part of the solution to the digital challenges of our customers, as we think digital is a change maker for the packaging experience.
